My anticipation for a typical GDR soft ice cream was clouded when I discovered that the soft ice cream was by no means soft. It also looked more like a water ice cream than a milk ice cream. In addition, the ice cream unfortunately did not see any vanilla, which I would have wished for in tiny proportions at the price. The cornstarch also confuses me a bit. The raspberry flavor was very strong and natural. I also liked the cardboard packaging.

Whenever we go on vacation here, a visit to the ice cream workshop is part of it. I love the classic GDR soft ice cream vanilla-chocolate. My mom confirms that the taste was the same. I'm not old enough to be able to judge it, but I think today's taste is great too. Better than any soft ice cream I've eaten anywhere else. You can also get various toppings (muesli, fruit, chocolate, etc.) and sauces on top of the ice cream. The prices for the portions and the quality are okay. There are indoor and outdoor seats. On our next vacation we will definitely check it out again.

Original GDR ice cream is still on offer here. In a small alley with a few seats inside and right outside the door. The ice cream is delicious and so are the toppings and sauces. The service staff was very nice and helpful. Definitely worth a visit.

You have to like it, well it wasn't my taste

I missed the GDR, so I don't know anything about the classic taste. But it is nicely presented and tastes great.

Very tasty frozen yoghurt half natural half fruit. The fruit portion changes every day and is made with whole fruit and they offer a waffle cup. Unfortunately the cup gets a little smaller every year and with it the toppings, the price in turn moves in the other direction. :(

Always worth a visit! Warm, motivated service, great taste, large selection of individual ice cream on a proven basis. Cool concept.

Just went back to the ice cream shop, like every year. Come from Dresden and only eat our ice cream here. It has the best ice cream in the world 😉 And the staff and the boss are always friendly, hard-working and with a smile on their faces. You love to get here. The ice cream is delicious, the shop is lovingly decorated and the service is nice. That the ice cream (I'm talking about the ice cream shop special) is getting more and more expensive ok, but if the portions get much smaller, I'm out. Got ice cream for 5 euros, which used to be the s size.

Here we tried the soft ice cream today. Vanilla and chocolate were on the program. The ice cream is very tasty and has a completely different consistency than I know from soft ice cream. But this is also very nice. Flavor 1A. The service is super friendly.

Delicious soft ice cream. It really tastes like we used to. The staff are always friendly and in a good mood and you can put everything together yourself, the fruits are always fresh. When we are in Rostock we always stop by, even in winter. 😁

The best ice cream in the city! Pure DDR with best service. Motivated and friendly staff left nothing to be desired. For ice cream there was still delicious in-house coffee. We are now regulars.

Awesome old-style soft serve ice cream, the traditional vanilla-chocolate is great, the variety of possible toppings is almost overwhelming. A mandatory stop in town.
